There are not enough stars to give to this office. Dr. Shumski's excellent ratings are well deserved and I am so happy to add to the positive reviews. His calm demeanor, honest evaluation and desire to make the surgery a successful experience is invaluable. The staff is outstanding from the front desk to the concierge service and the technicians who conduct the testing throughout the process. I never thought that I would be brave enough to undergo laser and cataract surgery. I have been vision im- paired since I was 2 years old and now I cannot believe how well I can see color and everything so clearly. I was put completely at ease by Dr Hunter and the staff and I could not be more grateful for their complete thoroughness during my procedures and my follow-up. I am more than appreciative.

From inception with the Concierge, Dr. Shumski, and supporting staff, the professionalisml has been top notch.  Eye surgery is a scary undertaking for most people.  The Magruder Laser Institue staff is mindful of this discomfort and makes one feel at ease. Never would have thought that I would be able to see clearly without glasses.  Given my poor eyesight, astigmatism and having RK surgery back in 1991, my life has been viewed through coke bottle glasses since I turned 48.  When my ophthalmologist recommended I visit Magruder and see if I was a candidate for refractive lens replacement using the light adjustable lens, I was very skeptical given my extreme case.  Now after my second light treatment I am currently typing this without glasses and have 30/20 long range vision.  It's a modern miracle. What an amazing experience I had at the Lake Mary office. The staff was kind, knowledgeable and pleasant. Dr. Shumski did an incredible job of explaining exactly what he was doing during the surgery. Jennifer Bailey was extremely helpful in walking me through the paperwork and was always there to help when I had additional questions (before and after surgery).
