Treatment Process

While the entire procedure takes less than 15 minutes, the laser portion of the treatment lasts only a few seconds.

On the day of the procedure, patients can expect to be in the office for approximately 90 minutes.

An optional mild sedative is offered to patients, and anesthetic eye drops are applied to numb the eye to increase comfort.

A small eyelid holder is placed between the eyelids to remove any worry about blinking during the procedure.

Your surgeon will ask you to follow a colored target light during the Femtosecond and Excimer laser portions.

What Does Recovery Look Like?

Recovery time is minimal, with most guests driving and returning to work the next day.

You can expect your vision to be blurry the first few hours after surgery, followed by a rapid and significant vision improvement.

Our patients often say their vision after LASIK eye surgery is better than what it was with glasses or contacts.

As laser technology evolves, more and more people are becoming candidates for MLV Advanced LASIK vision correction. Give us a call at 407-843-5665 and find clarity today!
